Along with a thorough health review, the Mind and Body Consultation not surprisingly will take into account the various physical and emotional stressful events that could be creating your pain. Our Consultation and Examination process is like two friends getting to know each other. We will never embarrass you and disrobing is unnecessary. We explain every step you will experience upfront so there are no hidden surprises. If deemed necessary you will receive your initial computerised Posture Examination using Posture Pro Technology and Stress Level Examination using HeartMath biofeedback evaluation. Both of these computerised tests are quick, fun and non-invasive.
Your Mind and Body Personal Treatment Program
This is where we explain what we have found and usually occurs on your second visit. The results from your Consultation and Examination are explained in detail. Physical and emotional stress factors are discussed. Your Posture Number and Stress Levels are detailed and your Personal Treatment Plan is explained. Our goal is to relieve your Headaches, Neck Pain or Back Pain with the least fuss in the quickest possible timeframe.
We will spend as much time as necessary answering any questions you may have.
The Relaxation Rooms
You will find MBC to be a relaxed and unrushed healing environment. Our entire team want to understand you and how to make your experience with us the ideal healing experience. Our relaxation rooms are an extension of this, designed to relax you fully before your treatment. State-of-the-art massage chairs are set up for your requirements in a private room and you get to select your favourite music or audio-visual programs.
We find that about 20 minutes is an optimal time in your massage chair to get your mind and body relaxed and ready for your treatment. If you would like to spend more time in the Relaxation Room, please let us know.

With this goal in mind we ask for your help in doing your ‘mind and body homework’. Both the emotional and physical stresses we are treating require you to participate in a specific exercise program at home.
Your mind homework will be to learn the HeartMath Quick Coherence Technique (QCT) and practice it for a few minutes each day. More powerful than meditation or mindfulness training, your QCT is the fastest way so far discovered to reduce stress and create a genuine, long-lasting sense of calm and peace in your busy world.
Your body homework will be to participate in our exercise program to add suppleness and strength to your spine and posture. We use Physitrack Internet technology to personalise and monitor your exercise regime. The exercises begin simply and require only seven minutes to perform.
Measuring your Mind and Body Progress
