Why Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is all about the individual. Each and every one of us has a different genetic makeup, which then interacts with our environment and lifestyle to make us all truly unique individuals! This is why there is not just one diet or health regime that benefits everyone. There is so much information out there on how to be healthy, and it is so confusing and frustrating to put your time and energy into health changes and supplements that just don’t suit you and your individual needs. Jolene is trained in how to assess your health and how to help you strengthen, tone and balance your body and mind in order to optimise your health and wellbeing.

Naturopathy is for everyone, from babies to the elderly and everyone in between!

Why Herbal Medicine?

Herbs are an extremely important and effective therapy that Jolene uses in order to help you overcome illness and achieve your health goals. Herbs when prescribed correctly can nourish and nurture your body, expel excess mucus, toxins and microbes, strengthen and tone your tissues and organs, energise or sedate your mind and body, help to balance your hormones, and reduce pain and inflammation, just to name a few of their uses. Herbs may be given as a liquid tincture, a tablet or as a tea.

Why Cell BioImpedence?

Would you like an insight into how your body is coping right now with your current diet and lifestyle? The CelHA is a fabulous little machine that eliminates a lot of the guess work! The CelHA is used to assess and monitor various aspects of your health, such as your current rate of aging (which IS reversible), your exact muscle and fat mass, the quality of your body tissues, your energy levels, and what effect such things as inflammation and toxicity are having on your body cells. This technology was originally developed to monitor patients in hospitals after surgery, and has been used by NASA in order to monitor their astronauts in space.

This little machine is a fantastic way to monitor your progress towards your goals and give you concrete feedback on how your health is improving step by step!

Why Nutrition?

Many of us are not eating a diet that suits our body type or the demands that we place it under during everyday life. Many of us may also think that our diets are pretty good, but often with only a few specific changes we can feel so much better.

Nutritional supplements are commonly used in naturopathy to correct nutritional deficiencies and imbalances that may be causing or contributing to your current health complaints. Nutritional supplements can also be used to have a positive therapeutic effect on the functioning of the body, mind and emotions.
