About Us

I was born a naturally caring person, I love and enjoy helping people and animals. I have an empathy for everyone at every level. I have earned most of my qualifications at the Natural Health Academy of South Australia.

Diplomas: Reflexology, Aromatherapy (Massage),
Certificates: Remedial Holistic Massage, Counselling, Acupressure, Acubalance, Muscle Tension Reset and Cyber-Orthotics,

Ongoing: Continuous Professional Education Seminars and commitment to professional conduct, I am a full member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (A T M S). I also can provide my health care provider number so that those of you who have health fund cover can claim reimbursement.
For those who do not have private health fund cover, not to worry because if you collect all your receipts for taking care of your health (including vitamins) and they add up to $1,500.00 or more a year, you can claim it against your tax at the end of the financial year...an even a better deal for your health.
I keep my practice at a very comfortable level, so that I have more than enough energy to give all I can for each of my clients, to let me do what I love doing to the best of my ability, which fulfils my main goal in my journey through life.

The Power of mind healing

I am Nancylita Lesmoras Waye, a Natural Therapist with many qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Acupressure, Muscle Tension Reset, Muscle Positional Release, Remedial Massage... and a good helping of my own experience and intuition; these are some of the modalities that I use to heal and remedy a number of dis–eases or some of the physical discomfort that we encounter every now and then in our journey through life.

My gift to you on this planet we live in, is to help you to recognise the signals of your own body’s calling for your attention. I can do this in a perfectly natural way, without resort to drugs or synthetic medication, to bring you back to functioning at your own optimal level of health, to enjoy living your own life to the full, allowing you to tap in to your own uniqueness again, able to utilise your full energy and life force.

In my clinic I will help you (with your cooperation ) to ease your discomfort by just unblocking your energy channels using all that I have learned, with wisdom and compassion.

Healing your physical body with your mind is the most successful way to ease your pain after you have already made trips to any health practitioners over a long period of time, feeling relief for a short time (or not at all), which means that your body has lost its connection with your whole being (which is why you are still feeling your pain).

If this is what’s happening with you, its about time to put yourself back in command (this might sound silly; we grow up, these days, ‘knowing’ - really, it’s ‘being told’ - that pills and pain killers are ‘best’ for you and are always available) Those pills may be very helpful in some ways and I highly respect with gratitude, all those people involved in producing them and temporarily relieving some pain. But in so many cases also, there is a dark side to these tablets, becoming reliant on them because we fail to listen (or just don’t know how!) to what our body really needs.

As a practitioner, pain is part of our lives and I consider it to be one of our gifts in life, to remind ourselves of the connection between the energy in our mind, body and spirit; pain is the obvious sign of something being wrong, damage being done and causes disconnection of the communications between flowing energy circuits throughout our whole being. To understand what our bodily limitations are and what we are allowed to do to it... and how we can take care of it, to live our lives to the fullest.

For some of us, this maybe be a dream... but anyone can make it happen, if we set our mind to it.

Without this gift of pain, we would just carry on working regardless, abusing our bodies until, one after the other, parts of our bodies just stop working, or become a permanent pain, quite literally.

Reflexology

There are a number of theories behind Reflexology - these relate to the nervous system, pain and its perception, endorphins, energy flow, therapeutic touch, circulation, the placebo effect and to zone theory! The last is probably the nearest to the truth and easiest to grasp, whereby different parts of the body, organs and limbs, are associated with different parts of the hands, feet and ears.

The corresponding parts on the ‘map’ of the foot, ear or hand are stimulated to help the ailment in the part of the body giving you grief!

It also works the other way round, too! If a particular part of the foot (for example) is ‘tender’, it would usually mean that the corresponding part of the body (or organ) is in someway suffering...this is a very useful pointer as to what might be the cause of your troubles. which are considered to link to the organs and parts of the body.

Aromatherapy Massage

Is a full body massage using pure essential organic oils extracted from plants, flowers, roots, herbs and trees to promote a sense of well-being. These carefully chosen essential oils are mixed freshly especially to suit you. The aroma alone can stimulate the nerve endings in the brain to bring about a sense of relaxation or to refresh the mood while you are being massaged.

Essential oils work directly on the chemistry of the body and are suitable for people of all ages and are powerful tools to promote self-healing. They can be sedating or stimulating, some relieve pain and muscle tension, and most oils are antibacterial. Aromatherapy combines them with the healing power of touch. This holistic treatment benefits the body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Acupressure

Is closely related to and works in a similar way to Acupuncture, except that nobody sticks any needles in you! The theory is that that your whole body is covered in special ‘points’, which are in turn linked along ‘pathways’(or meridians). These 12 major meridians (there are a few other ones, too) are related in their function to internal organs.

These organs and their over- or under-function influence the way we are and, in effect, how we feel and what ailments and injuries we are susceptible to. The idea is to locate the imbalances that are present and to restore the equilibrium that we know to be the ideal state, which returns us to a ‘normal’, healthy condition. Acupressure is good for general ailments, lack of sleep, headaches etc., helps effectively to reduce pain and suffering caused by injuries and very often can get right to the bottom of muscular tension and other problems even sometimes making them disappear completely! And all this completely naturally, without the use of any chemicals, your body doing the actual healing itself! In fact, during any session, it is quite common and normal for patients to fall into a semi-sleep or to ‘drift’ off...

Muscle Tension Reset

Ever felt unbalanced, tense, run down? Of course, we all have and with the pace of things, is it any wonder? We all suffer from slight imbalances, causing uneven muscle tension (which we often don’t even notice ourselves). This in turn causes us to habitually stand, move, lie or sit in a slightly ‘wonky’ way which can even lead to shortening of muscles, but almost certainly to discomfort in the form of unnecessary aches and pains, which we are told to accept that we just have to live with!

Muscle Tension Reset is a combination of techniques developed by JOHN HOLODNAK @mandurah Natural Therapies Centre that focus on releasing and resetting the tensions of muscles, tendons and ligaments that have been traumatised due to any kind of injuries, bad posture caused by repetitive movement or workplace ergonomics etc. The treatment aims to increase the flow of fluids (blood, lymph and lactic acid) within and between the muscles to help improve the flexibility and range of movement of the affected part of the body.

The treatment is non-invasive, even be done without removing any clothing, though I would normally incorporate it within the ‘normal’ course of a massage, reflexology or acupressure session.

CyberOrthotics

Not all feet are created equal! Your feet are a complex system of 52 bones, 66 joints , 214 ligaments and 38 tendons and muscles! Even the smallest imbalance in your feet can cause pain. Left untreated, chronic foot pain can prevent you from leading the active lifestyle you desire. Your feet have a direct impact on the rest of your body, like the foundation of a house, your feet support the weight of everything above them. When a small problem develops in your feet, the subtle change of movements in the way you walk will cause a chain reaction of adjustments in your posture and walking mechanics. These changes can put stress on joints higher up in your body and lead to more serious problems such as foot pain, knee pain, hip pain and back pain.

The most common types of foot problems that can result in pain are: Plantar Fasciitis (arch pain), Heel Spurs (heel pain), Achilles Tendonitis (rear foot pain) and Bunions (big toe pain).

The Orthotics Group’s custom Orthotics help rebalance your feet, reducing pain and discomfort by enhancing your body’s natural movements. Orthotics are inserts of various types that are placed in your shoes to counteract imbalances and poor function, ensuring that your feet and the rest of your body return to a ‘normal’ walking cycle and standing posture, relieving the muscles and tendons affected, thus reducing the pain these cause.

Our Orthotics are made from imprints of your own feet, ensuring a perfect correlation and fit and are guaranteed to last for many years(!) unlike any of the ‘off the shelf’ inserts.

Initially your body may respond to treatment by severe but temporary worsening of symptoms or by appearance of of apparently new acute symptoms. This is known as a healing crisis and should be followed by an improvement of the condition. It may be seen as a turning point in the illness and is a positive occurrence, indicating that the body is responding to treatment.

Please drink plenty of water!!

The following responses to treatment are quite common:
    • Temporary worsening of symptoms
    • Runny nose or cold-like symptoms
    • Headache
    • Skin reactions
    • Increased sweating, especially in the hands and feet
    • Increased thirst - drinking (water!) aids the process of ridding toxins
    • Increased urination and/or bowel movements (see above)
    • Feeling ‘cold’ or ‘hot’
