A holistic approach to a better, healthier you.
Here at Naturecare Naturopathy, we believe that a better you will lead to a healthier you.
We approach health from a Naturopathic perspective, looking at one's body, mind and emotional well-being as a whole, and combining an array of natural therapies to support healing and maintaining your health. With our core principle of “healing through nature”, we seek to bring you on a journey of better health, to be a better you!
Naturecare Naturopathy is located in Western Australia and we offer Naturopathic consultations to help improving your health.
I am a primary health care provider, similar to GP, but will spend a much longer time with my patient. Patient tells me everything that is wrong with him/her now and I proceed with further questioning trying to find out the underlying cause.
I treat patient as a whole person. I gather all the symptoms from body/physical (includes sex, sleep, food and 5 senses), mind/mental/spiritual and emotions as we believe that human being is constructed by these 3 levels. These 3 levels are not separate and distinct, but rather there is complete interaction between them, for example, when we are stressful, we feel sick and our symptoms become worse. At the same time, I will review patient’s current medications, nutritional supplements, and current diet.
At the end of the session, I may do some general physical health tests e.g. blood pressure check and zinc test. I may recommend or refer patients to other field, e.g. GP for further testings, specialist, counsellor, psychologist, or other therapies if it is required.
From the gathered information, I will tailor an individualised treatment plan for the patient and this will usually be discussed during the follow-up consultation. Sometimes it may not be possible to gather all the information in one sitting. Reason is that I treat patient with Naturopathy and Homoeopathy, and both fields have different questions to ask.
Patient may be recommended to change or add certain items in the diet. There may be recommendations for lifestyle modification as well as liquid herbal medicine, homoeopathy remedy or nutritional supplements to take for a certain period of time.
The duration of treatment varies depending on the severity of cases and patient’s compliance. Chronic and deep-seated illnesses usually take longer to treat.

Before the initial appointment, I will send you a Client Health Summary form via email. I would need you to complete your health summary and send it back to me preferably one day before your appointment. This will allow me to have a brief understanding about your health issues, medical and family history before the appointment.
Initial consultation involves comprehensive case taking, zinc test, blood pressure check; review of current medications, nutritional supplements and current diet; and an initial treatment plan. Some dietary and lifestyle modifications may be recommended, and you may be prescribed with liquid herbal medicine, homoeopathy remedy or nutritional supplements during this consultation.
After gathering the required information, I will tailor an individualised treatment plan for you which will be discussed during the follow-up consultation, and organise any further testing or referral if needed.
You should expect to be with me for about 1.5 - 2 hours during this consultation.

Follow-up consultation involves discussing how you have responded to the initial treatment, includes your prescriptions, dietary and lifestyle recommendations; current new acute complaints and symptoms, and review the tests, if any. More information may be gathered during the subsequent follow-up consultation if needed.
Follow-up and subsequent follow-up consultations are done at 2-4 weeks intervals on a case by case basis. Once your health conditions begin to improve, the time between consultations will increase.
