What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation that allows your conscious mind to be bypassed. It is able to connect with your subconscious or unconscious to create positive changes in your limiting beliefs, thinking and behaviours that are taking away from your quality of life.
Hypnosis despite common belief does not take control away from you, it’s not like you are unconscious or under anaesthetic, it is similar to daydreaming. Hypnosis is a state when you are physical present and in control but unconsciously somewhere else. This state can be referred to as unconscious competence.
Is Hypnosis safe?
Hypnotherapy is completely safe and has been utilised for many thousands of years to bring about illicit positive behavioural and psychological change and to help clients to achieve their goals. It will not make you do anything against your will.
How will I feel?
Clients will commonly report feeling a sense of wellbeing after their hypnotherapy sessions. Hypnosis is actually a process of waking you up! Waking up to your desires, dreams, ambitions and goals that have been stifled by negative self-talk, limiting beliefs, trauma and a lack of confidence.
