Personal Beliefs

While I recogise the potential benefit of alternative forms of therapy, my own practice is set up taking advantage of extensive research based outcomes. I personally have a high regard for evidenced based procedure, objective measureing followed by reassement to guide intervention(s). I seek to treat most patients between 3-5 sessions in total (per event).

While studying Physiotherapy at University I was recommended for a position as a labratory assistant and as a tutor for Medicine, Physiotherapy and other Alllied health students. This has developed strong teaching skills in both one to one formats, and group based environments. I also tutored Native Australian students in Human Bioscience, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology and Neuro Anatomy as this related to the Physiotherapy Degree.

I have a passion for teaching and have been recommended by Nick Stepkovitch for a lecturing role with Sports Medicine Australia at Olympic Park, and look forward to lecturing in this capacity in the new year having now come aboard with their company.

My treartment strategies consist of a variety of therapeutic modalities such as:
  • Orthotic presciption and adaptation
  • Exercise prescription
  • Manual therapy
  • Soft tissue massage
  • Ultrasound (US) as treatment
  • Interferential electortherapy for pain modulation and healing (IF)
  • Assessment strategies such as HD video for gait (running and walking) and
  • Traction -for chronic Lumbar (low back), Cervical (neck) and other peripheral joints

I am confident that I can assist you to regain mobility, freedom of movement and reductions in pain and stiffness that you may have come to believe is your 'lot in life'.

Where necessary I can refer you for Xray or other Imaging, and to the right Medical or Therapy Practitioners, Massage Therapy, Personal Training, Podiatry, Nutrition and Dietetics and for review by Specialist if necessary.

I look forward to seeing you in person. Please don't hesitate to contact me by email or phone.
