What can you do about unexplained pelvic pain,  discomfort during sex, changes after childbirth, preparation for childbirth etc?  

Sexological Bodyworkers are skilled, experienced and knowledgeable about working with both internal and external scar tissue.  This profession is unique in the respect that we work on internal scarring including episiotomies, rectocele operation scarring and bowel operations.  Scars, especially old scars that have had time to hang around, form adhesions to soft tissue, over time this can create changes in the skeletal frame causing unexplained joint or back pain.    Using natural, yet effective massage and oils to soften scars by ‘re formatting’ the collagen, a certified sexological bodyworker can often eliminate pelvic pain within a few sessions.  It is our belief that every woman should be able to access this information.

Very little information is available in medical textbooks to educate women about their arousal anatomy or anything that isn’t for practical reproduction purposes. There is little accessible education outside of school sex ed and pornography for anybody.

Every woman who has had a child, has scarring. Every woman who has had any kind of surgery has scarring. Any woman who has been the subject of female genital mutilation has scarring. Any woman who has had radiation therapy has scarring. Any woman who suffers from endometriosis has scarring. Scarring causes adhesions and scarring creates an interruption to vascular delivery which can result in numbness, pain, altered sensations, lack of sensitivity or over sensitivity. In many cases sensations can be restored without surgical intervention.
