Reach Your Peak Personal Training was established in January 2000 when Danielle Grant fulfilled her Vision through the creation of a unique environment and culture providing the ideal facility to Reach YOUR Peak health and fitness goals.

Sharing her vision, all Reach Your Peak trainers love their work. Highly qualified with extensive experience, being 100% committed to providing a unique depth of caring and support for each and every client is a top priority. Whether weekend warrior, serious athlete or mum on the run, be assured your trainer is absolutely passionate about building rapport with you to create the ideal individual conditions and exercise sessions for a fitter, healthier you!

Unlike the anonymity of a gym workout, Reach Your Peak clients are assigned their own personal trainer. The one on one motivation and structured nutritional advice with homework plan make achieving goals so much easier, more interesting and definitely more fun!


Services


Personal Training
Whether you prefer to train on your own or with a friend or partner, personal training is the most effective way to achieve your health and fitness goals. You are appointed your own trainer who provides you with motivation and discipline along with continual advice, support and encouragement. Sessions are available in half hour or one hour blocks and special prices for 10 session packages.

Spring into Shape
8 week fast-track group training program designed specifically to achieve fantastic weight loss and fitness results. Taking place during October & November it includes three group training sessions per week, fitness test at commencement and conclusion of program, measurements recorded three times throughout the program, weekly weigh-in and food and exercise diary checked weekly by an exercise physiologist. Guaranteed Results!

Feb-Fit
4 week outdoor fitness group training program. This program takes place in February and is designed to lift your fitness to a new level, no matter what your starting base. It includes 3 group sessions each week at different locations in the great outdoors. If you are an outdoors person we guarantee you will love this program and your new found fitness levels!

Danielle Grant - Director

Danielle is a people person, but don’t let that fool you, she expects no less from her clients than she asks of herself – so expect to train hard! The nutrition guru, Danielle emphatically utilises the food diary as an essential tool for weight loss and good health. As a triathlete, Danielle understands the importance of a program and an eating plan. She’s an Accredited Exercise Physiologist having completed a sports science degree with her major in nutrition. With 10 years experience as a personal trainer she’s trained them all, from kids to grandparents, rehab clients to athletes and everything in between. "I love to see people discover how fantastic they can feel with regular exercise and healthy eating – it’s amazing!".

Sally Cleary

If you feel time slows down when you exercise then you need to train with our Sal - she will speed up time and talk you through anything. Prior to her ten years experience as a personal trainer she worked as a primary school teacher, her degree in psychology well equips her to assist people break through any mental hurdles around diet and exercise. Sal says “Personal training is about encouraging anyone to have a go at something physical, regardless of ability or fitness level”.

Kate Sargeant

Sargeant by name, Sargeant by nature, Kate is our proverbial kick-butt trainer! With seven years experience and a smile on her face, Kate delivers a fast-paced, energy –packed session to take you out of your comfort zone safely. Kate says “I love motivating people to reach their goals and seeing the determination on their face to get to the finish line”. She loves to surf, swim and play tennis.

Maddy Boadle

Maddy is our leading mature-aged trainer. Balancing being a mother and a grandmother with a very active lifestyle she has a great understanding and compassion for busy mums, those making the most of retirement and the elderly. Maddy believes “every ‘body’ is unique and I aim to ensure that each training session is varied and focused on the needs of the client. I aim to ensure that when my clients leave their training session – they feel energized, stronger and happy!!”.

Maddy has been a personal trainer for six years, prior to this she worked for over 12 years in the fitness industry teaching aerobics and exercise to music. Her favourite sport is running, this makes her very happy and she also enjoys tennis, walking and snow skiing. In 2002 she came third in her age group in the World Masters Games in Melbourne in the 10km road race, an amazing achievement that she will be contesting again later this year in Sydney.

Amanda Thompson

Driven by results, serious and committed to your goals? Amanda devises great strength and conditioning programs that are varied, exciting and guaranteed to leave you feeling like you’ve had a great workout. After four years as a PT, Amanda says ‘ I love being a personal trainer to motivate people to make a change in their lives and help them achieve their desired goals’. She has previously completed the Oxfam 100km walk and a half marathon and is currently training for the 2009 Melbourne Half Marathon.

Troy Cochrane

Troy loves the great outdoors and his passion for fitness shines through when training his clients. He has a strong sporting and competitive back ground in hockey, Surf Life Saving (a very popular member at our local Mt Martha club) and also in off-road triathlon/adventure races. A secondary and primary school teacher, one of his specialties is “kids” fitness having completed additional training in this area. He has a lovely easy going personality and is very encouraging and understanding while always bringing the best out in his clients.
