About Me

Hello, my name is Sonya Cavanough and I absolutely love being able to help people! I have always had a heart for the vulnerable, the broken, the needy, the hurting even from an early age. This has seen me enter into a number of people caring kinds of employment such as aged care, child care, and pastoral care work.

At Sonya Cavanough Counselling Services, I incorporate effective psychotherapy methods to help with self-understanding amongst clients and to help them incorporate fresh feelings and attitudes towards challenging life situations. Right from small-scale experiences to deeply traumatic experiences, my services are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual I’m dealing with.
