Abhyanga (abee-yan-ga) Massage:
This relaxing & rejuvenating massage combines a mixture of techniques in order to provide a truly life-changing experience. Utilising a blend of medicinal grade essential oils and soothing massage techniques, this form of massage is gentle enough to be used by people of all ages - including the Elderly.

As the oil is massaged into the skin during a treatment, it penetrates deep into the tissues and loosens fat soluble toxins and prepares them to be eliminated. An Abhyanga massage can also enhance immunity, increase circulation, treatments cover marma points (pressure points), of the head, face, hands and feet.

Vishesha (vee-shey-sha) Massage:
This massage treatment involves the use of more deep tissue focused techniques. Perfect for those who like a deeper massage, Vishesha uses trigger point release and therapeutic massage techniques to provide relief from a range of physical pains and injuries. It has the same healing properties as the Abhyanga Massage, as it too can loosen impurities and relieve tension on a deep level, helping promote recovery.

Garshana (gar-sha-na) Massage:
Incorporating traditional massage techniques with the use of a Raw Silk Glove, Ayurveda Natural Health is one of the few places in Melbourne to provide this. With fast, exfoliating movements being used to stimulate blood flow, increasing metabolism and bringing health and lustre to the skin, why would you chose any other massage to invigorate your body? This skin rejuvenation and anti-cellulite treatment consists of 15-20 mins of Garshana, which is then followed up by 40-45 mins of Abhyanga oil massage.

Nasya (nas-e-ya) Massage:
This treatment is the Nasal Administration of Oil, to treat upper respiratory problems. Experience the ancient cleansing technique of Nasya, which consists of a stimulating massage to the head, face, and neck followed by a steam treatment to relax muscles, open sinuses and capillaries. Once you're relaxed and circulation increased medicated oil is then administered via the nostrils in order to soothe and repair your sinus tissue. This form of natural therapy is used in the treatment of many conditions, including chronic sinusitis, allergies, blocked nose and menorrhagia.

Which Oils Do We Use During a Treatment?

During a typical treatment, we only use edible ingredients in our massage oils. As a result these oils are safe and gentle enough to be used on a range illnesses, with all base oils being cold pressed and organic.

NOTE: Essential oils are also used to enhance the relaxation and therapeutic effect of the massage techniques use. Where available organic oils will also be used.
