Shiatsu Insight

Welcome to Shiatsu Insight

Taoist philosophy states that everything should exist in its natural state: Health is the natural state of the body, stability and integration the natural state of the mind, happiness the natural feeling of life.

Peace exists when all surrounding circumstances exist in their natural state.

“Naturalness has to do with balance; by achieving a state of balance within the body and harmony with others, an overall state of well-being can be enjoyed.” Masahiro Oki

Sophie Prior qualified as a Zen Shiatsu practitioner and Ki Yoga teacher in 2004. The following year, she broadened her knowledge working alongside practitioners in Canada & the UK. Sophie practiced at the Zen Renaissance Healing Centre in Sydney before opening a clinic in the Blue Mountains.

Sophie shares her knowledge giving workshops at the start of each season.

Sophie believes the Taoist healing arts require the ability to listen and connect to a persons entire being.
