Irene is a qualified practitioner of Chinese Medicine, in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Irene has experience in working with clients of all ages and genders.
She believes that Chinese Medicine can assist in the restoration of balance in all aspects of a person’s life - ranging from addressing physical and emotional imbalances, to delivering tailored lifestyle and dietary choices to each individual.
Irene is passionate about incorporating the long practiced techniques of Chinese Medicine into the primary health care regime of each client. She has as special interest in women’s health and family planning, infertility and IVF support.
She also has an interest in stress-related and emotional issues (anxiety, depression, bi-polar states, panic attacks, emotional disturbances), autoimmune disorders, skin conditions, and pain management.
Chinese Medicine is also suitable for treating respiratory disorders, weight management, sports injuries, paediatric illness, and digestive disorders.
Irene’s treatments utilise a range of skills from the Chinese medicine tradition, including medical qi-gong, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and tui-na (Chinese Massage).
