What is Yoga Therapy?
As a therapist I see many a client dealing with complaints and pain in the upper back, often the result of poor posture from sitting bent forward over a computer keyboard, or working as a builder or driving long periods. Pain, whether it is between the shoulder blades or lower back or hips can often be alleviated through improving posture and by using physiological exercises to increase strength, release stiffness and improve flexibility. As a yoga instructor trained in both Australia and India, I know that correcting bad habits takes time and effort but can also bring about a sense of fulfilment and joy along with the added benefit of relaxation, which I'm sure living in this fast paced world, we all need.
