What is SoundBirth?

Soundbirth was created after the birth of my third daughter in 2009.  My Mother started to play one of the crystal singing bowls that was in my bedroom during one of my contractions.  I immediately felt relaxed and uninhibited about making "strange" sounds and consequently started using my voice more.  The sounds gave me something to focus on. I had NEVER felt so relaxed as well as empowered at the same time before. I even found myself enjoying creating and listening to the sounds I was co-creating with the bowl for the next 5 hours of labour. During this experience I knew I needed to share this tool with other pregnant women.  So I created SoundBirth and now teach what I have learnt about the power of sound during labour in private sessions, workshops and online courses.

If you live in Perth I will come to your place and spend a few hours with you and your partner and anyone else who will be supporting your during your labour.  During this time I will teach your support crew how to play a crystal singing bowl and how you can use your voice to support yourself!  You will also gain access to the online course "Sing Your Baby to You" so you can refer to this for extra support.  To find out more click HERE

Services for Mothers with Babies:

I am very passionate about supporting Mums with babies as I know from having 4 babies myself how challenging this time of a woman's life can be!  I have found that using simple music and sound tools while being a Mother has saved me from sliding downhill on an emotional level. 

Here is what I love to share: how to create a special lullaby (a "Heart Song"); how to create and use therapeutic playlists; how to increase oxytocin and therefore the bond between you and your baby; how to sing songs to create a natural routine in your day and more!
