Stacey has been involved in many competitive sports from a young age including national figure skating, distance running and triathlon. Recently Stacey has found a love for strength training with a keen interest in natural bodybuilding and powerlifting. Stacey’s involvement in sport has allowed her to develop a love for the health and fitness industry.

As a nutritionist, Stacey understands the importance of nourishing your body with the right nutrients to achieve optimal performance. Combining her knowledge in nutrition with her coaching skills is something Stacey is excited to pursue.

Memberships means you train at Shredded for all your training and get the benefit of both the best facility in Perth and semi private PT while you train as part of your membership. Please note it does require you to be training using a Shredded Program.

Personal Training

At Shredded we specialize in 1:1 Personal Training. It is what we do better than anyone else. Research shows that 1:1 Personal Training done properly is the fastest and best way to get you is shape.

Shredded coaches are selected for their passion and desire to be the best they can be and deliver the best for their clients. From there the coaches at Shredded get more weekly personal development coaching than any other gym in Australia. They receive training in all aspect of fitness, weight training, nutrition and lifestyle. This is all to ensure they can provide you with the ultimate training experience to help you achieve your results in a safe and efficient way.

Initial Consults

The best way to get the results you want is to have a personalized program and nutritional plan written for you.
This is done by way of an Initial Consultation.

This allows us to fully assess what it is you want, need, and how you are best to go about achieving the results you ultimately desire. Unfortunately it is common practice in our industry for trainers to negate doing this, which is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous.

All our coaches from Level One B and above are able to conduct initial consultations and are constantly up-skilling themselves to ensure they can provide you with the best programs and nutritional advice.

It is important to realise that works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Nutritional advice is based on a number of factors including goals, lifestyle, hormones, sensitivities and stressors.

All Shredded coaches are constantly up-skilling themselves and also share their experiences amongst the team on what is the best approach with nutrition and training.

Shredded Senior Coaches are highly qualified and experienced in the field of nutrition with qualifications ranging from Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Functional Medicine, Applied Kinesiology and we also have a fully qualified Dietitian as part of our team.

Pain Relief

Both Directors, Marty and Kelly, have a range of qualifications to help you feel your best and get out of pain.
There is no better feeling for us than being able to get someone out of pain and feeling remarkable better after just one session. We have both had our fair share of injuries and accidents over the years and know what it is like to live with pain and how good it feels when you get relief from it.
From Stretch Therapy techniques to specific rehabilitation exercises as well as techniques such as dry needling or guasha, we will get you moving again!

What is Dry Needling ?

Dry needling blends the principles of western medical anatomy and physiology with the ancient Chinese Medicine Technique of Acupuncture to create a technique for treating muscular pain and trigger points that is very effective with minimal discomfort. It is not based on the philosophy of Acupuncture, but uses the same needles and many of the same pressure points in the body. The effect is both local (where the needle was applied) and general, causing relaxation of the body and an overall improvement in your sense of well being.

Dry needling is great for any form of muscular pain, it works especially well for sports injuries such as a calf muscle tear, lower back and buttock pain as well as those aching computer shoulders.

The technique is rarely used alone (although in some cases it may be), and works well with the other therapies.

Dry needling stimulates the body’s endorphin system, causing a release of the natural pain killing hormones that the body secretes. It also alters the pain gate – the mechanism through which a person experiences pain. By receiving a stimulus other than the deep ache, your nervous system is able to reprogram itself to stop receiving a pain impulse. The dry needling directly applied to the trigger points causes a release in the muscle spasm at this motor point (a motor point is where the nerve enters the muscle and gives the “contract” command).

What is Gua sha?

Gua sha (Chinese: 刮痧; pinyin: guā shā), meaning “scraping sha-bruises”, is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. Practitioners believe gua sha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing.

Sunday Class

This Session is on each Sunday at 8am within The Shredded Strength Institute.

There is no need to book, simply come along with a towel, water bottle and a can do attitude. The Sunday class is $15 for members and $30 for non-members.

Everyone is welcome but if you have any injuries or are not accustomed to hard work please let us know at the start and we will look after you.

It is a circuit style class that utilizes most of the great equipment we have at Shredded. It can be adapted to all fitness levels but we aim to cater to the fitter people in the class and the rest can do their best to keep up.

After the first month, clients have the option of having either their coaches write their next program or the Director that did their initial consult can also do their follow ups if they so wish.

Both Bioprint and previously BioSignature are scientific approaches to holistic health and fat loss developed by world renowned Strength Coach, Charles Poliquin after performing blood, urine and saliva tests on professional athletes in all major sports as well as Olympic medallists in 16 different events over a period of nearly 30 years. His testings reveal that where people store their body fat is an indication of their hormonal profile, and stubborn problem areas can be due to an imbalance in the body’s biochemistry, especially with hormones.
