What Is A Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep Tissue Massage is beneficial to treat conditions associated with the musculoskeletal system where there may be pain or discomfort, circulatory, lymphatic and nervous system complications. Deep tissue massage focuses on the deep muscles and fascia or connective tissue. The massage should not hurt, but there will be a little more pressure than a classic massage. Treatments are individualized to your liking. The massage should feel amazing as muscle tension is released and blood supply restored.

Why Try Deep Tissue Massage?

In today’s society where stress related psychological and physiological health problems are common place, massage can play a significant role. Contrary to the belief system of many – massage is not purely indulgence. It has many therapeutic benefits: Massage can quickly increase your health and wellbeing.

Benefits of Massage

A regular massage relaxes the body and mind. It can resolve soft tissue pain caused by strain or injury or from just day to day living. Depending on your personal needs, we can combine different therapies to meet your requirements and treat you effectively.

MASSAGES AVAILABLE

Relaxation massage: If your physical or emotional health is challenged, a relaxation massage can be of benefit to eliminate the production of stress chemicals in the body.

Lymphatic drainage massage: This is not a muscular massage but a harmonious massage of the connective tissue, facilitating decongestion of lymphatic ducts and allowing the regenerative lymphatic fluid to flow. It not only stimulates the vital functions of the skin, tissues and internal organs but also serves to eliminate cellular wastes. A proprietary formula of pure essential oils may be used to increase the efficiency of the massage treatment.

Aromatherapy massage: Combines the senses of smell and touch providing an instant physical and mental benefit. Warmth created by the skin on skin friction results in the oils being absorbed more quickly. Through the sense of smell aromatherapy goes straight to the brain via the olfactory system and may stimulate memory associations, alter mood and feelings and influence hormonal responses.

Chinese massage: Chinese Massage is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine along with acupuncture. Chinese massage may work around acupuncture points where Qi or energy gathers. The purpose is to manipulate, activate and regulate the Qi or energy flow. It will also improve blood flow and can ease muscle pain, spasms, increase flexibility and assist with pain.

Reviews: Absolutely wonderful clinic. Very professional and great, friendly customer service. I have just had a massage with Irina, she is amazing. Very firm pressure and really helped my tight muscles. Highly recommend this place :)
