Your Healthy Baby
Are you facing difficulties with conceiving the baby you are dreaming about? While infertility rates seem to be increasing, the truth is that very few men and women are actually clinically infertile.
Evidence-based natural medicine is able to restore functional hormonal imbalances, improve sperm health and encourage fertile mucus. Throughout our years of practice, we have helped many couples enhance their fertility and achieve conception. We also have extensive experience working together with IVF clinics. Take a step towards the result you want. Phone for a consultation or a short discussion to assess your needs.
Health programs offered
This is a program for all couples wanting to produce the healthiest child possible.
This program guides you step by step to understand and maximise your fertility. It is a program for those who are taking time to conceive and may have been diagnosed with unexplained fertility or those with known health conditions compromising their fertility such as endometriosis, PCOS or poor sperm health.
This is a program to support you through all stages of your pregnancy. I will guide you through the discomforts of pregnancy as well as providing you with the knowledge to create the healthiest baby possible and for you to spring back to health after the birth.
After the birth is a time of great joy and great vulnerability. I will help you access the support you need and provide the building blocks needed for your body to regain its strength.
We will help you to understand the factors impinging on your quality of life. So often in practice we find that it is not just declining hormone levels that bring forth unwanted symptoms. In many cases we need to support the health of the adrenal gland and thyroid as well as support you to re-assess your priorities and direction in life. We aim to help our clients see this phase of life as one of new beginnings and tapping into unrealised potentials.
What to expect from your initial naturopathic consultation
You will feel listened to and heard. A careful, case history is taken to assess the many factors contributing to your health picture, including your diet, stress and activity levels as well as digestive health, immune health and nutritional levels.
Immediate concerns are addressed and a follow-up consult targets corrective and preventative health care.
Your symptoms and health presentation will be explained so as to assist with understanding your body and how you can best reach your health goals.

Together these guide towards a personalised health program to boost your nutrient and energy levels.
Where necessary, further testing and investigation is available or referred to your general practitioner where appropriate.
Together this information provides an excellent platform to create a personalised program, unique to your needs. Educating and empowering clients' to understand how their body functions and why symptoms occur is a key component for client satisfaction. Eloise works with families to achieve greater health. She has particular success helping children, addressing immune weakness and supporting learning and concentration challenges. Her other inspiration is supporting women to experience a healthy menstrual cycle, conception, pregnancy and birth. Her career to date has encompassed 17 years of naturopathic consulting, senior lecturing and supervision roles as well as health writing and public speaking both locally and internationally. Her clinical work in Australia and Germany, has been enriched by the opportunity to hold a position of Executive Director with the National Herbalists Association, to speak at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital on the topic of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and to develop a Menopause Handbook for the Women's Health Information Centre at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne.
Does natural medicine really work?
In Eloise's experience, hormonal conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, PMS and functional infertility respond incredibly well to herbal medicine. The herbs Eloise recommends have been rigorously studied in Germany and China. Treatment leads to a more regular menstrual cycle, reduced pain and discomfort, reduced mood swings and increased fertility.
Eloise began her career as a Naturopath at the clinic of Ruth Trickey, Australia's leading Herbalist for women's health and was fortunate to have her as a mentor. This gave her an excellent grounding in women's health which she went on to cement in her own practice. Eloise was able to assist in the research for Ruth Trickey's well known book, Women, Hormones and the Menstrual Cycle, through translating studies published in German on medicinal herbs.
After becoming a mother she expanded into the area of children's health. Her personal experience lends so much to her understanding of her smallest patients and their parents and the practicalities of incorporating natural medicine and dietary change into their lives. Eloise believes that children deserve to be functioning at their peak, making the most of every moment. In her experience it takes very little to get them back on track and children seem to sense when a natural medicine is helping them and are usually very compliant in taking their natural medicines. Research done in Germany on the use of herbal medicine in children's illnesses has led to wide-spread acceptance by patients, General Practitioners and Paediatricians.
How can a Naturopath help?
As a Naturopath Eloise see herself in the role of facilitator. Her clients tend to hold a large body of information on natural health, good nutrition and positive lifestyle choices. As educated people they are often seeking clarification of their own nagging sense that they could be feeling healthier, more energetic, be contributing more and feeling more contentment in life. Eloise feels they are completely correct in sensing that life could be more fulfilling, more meaningful and more physically robust.
She will help you to identify your health goals, to identify the most achievable lifestyle and diet changes which will also have the most impact. Eloise can provide you with a specialized prescription of herbal and nutritional medicines which will help you reach your health goals. She will support you to reach the greater sense of health and well-being that you are striving to reach.
Eloise involves you in the development of your own and your children's treatment plan and sees you as the architect of your own health. She identifies small changes that are achievable and bring results.
Eloise is excited to share with you her experiences at the Positive Psychology Congress in Berlin, July 2014. She was fortunate to be present to hear the research of some great minds. Internationally esteemed psychologist Martin Seligman, author of Authentic Happiness, Flourish and Optimistic Children, presented his latest projects, his work with the U.S. army and Google. He and his colleagues are on the cutting edge of science, developing practical and useful exercises that are easy to incorporate into your day to day routine and have been researched to show their effectiveness in increasing optimism, motivation and happiness. The research presented at the congress shows over and over that we are in control of our psychological health and that of our children. The tools of positive psychology that Eloise combines with her naturopathic advice help you gain greater psychological health, greater life satisfaction and resilience.
