People often ask me, “what led you to become a homeopath and why are you so passionate about it?”

The answer to that is:
Looking back on my life, I realized that from a very young age, I have been interested in my own health and helping others achieve health and wellbeing. I was particularly attracted to natural methods of healing that were gentle and non-invasive.

At the point in my life when I just had one small child, I was fortunate to have met someone who introduced me to homeopathy. I was immediately attracted to this form of medicine because it was natural and gentle as well as recognizing that one size does not fit all. It provided the tools to treat the individual mind and body by aiding your body’s own natural healing ability.

Like many of you, I did not have much money and I loved the fact that the remedies were inexpensive and you only need one at a time. All symptoms are taken into consideration and the person is treated holistically with one remedy. There is no need for many different drugs, one for the heart, one for depression, one for your flu etc. each with their side effects and interactions.

For simple, everyday ailments such as bruises, colds, flus, earaches, teething, urinary tract infections etc. I was able to teach myself how to treat my family. I successfully raised three daughters without needing to use antibiotics or conventional pain and fever relief medicines. For other ailments, I consulted a professionally trained homeopath.

When my children were older and had left home, I decided to change careers and become a homeopath. I had no idea, when I made this decision, that homeopathy had so much to offer and that it could often bring about profound changes to people’s lives, mentally, emotionally and physically.
