What is Art Therapy?
Anthroposophic art therapy takes a holistic view of the person, including biography, personality and abilities. It is a non-verbal form of therapy which, through its unique language and the process of making art, involves the client in a different way and can help you find new meaning, understanding and re-establish a connection to yourself and life. You are offered specific experiences with artistic exercises where the art therapist focuses on initiating or supporting a process of recovery, improvement or acceptance in yourself.
No previous art experience required! With my knowledge of the qualities and principles of the visual arts I am able to bring a balancing influence on physical, psychological and biographical aspects of your life. Art Therapy can assist you with self-reflection and insight, emotional expression and release, of resolving inner conflicts, traumatic experiences and unhelpful life patterns.
The therapeutic relationship is of high importance to me. Communicating with you before, during and at the completion of the therapy process, with regard to the therapy itself and its significance for and impact on you is essential.
Who could benefit from Art Therapy?
