In consultation with Sophia, you will develop a tailored health plan that will be supported on an ongoing basis.
Sophia can help you with a wide range of health concerns from an achy muscle to insomnia to digestive problems that you have tried other remedies for but didn't find a solution that worked.
She will develop a Health Plan with you that includes actions from all four pillars of health management:
- compatible foods
- Daily routines
- Remedial treatments
- Herbal remedies
This type of massage incorporates specific techniques to help the body eliminate toxins and waste.
The combination of firm and supple strokes creates a rejuvenating sensation, unlike any other massage.
Medicated oils can be used according to your Doshic Imbalance.
An easy, drug-free way to alleviate insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, and a general feeling of overwhelm.
The treatment starts with a hand and foot massage, followed by a gentle stream of warm oil poured onto your forehead, and is concluded by an Indian Scalp Massage.
For this treatment, a dough made from black lentil flour forms a swimming pool against the body part that is being treated.
Warm oil, sesame or medicated, is added to the pool, which is then removed after 20 to 25 minutes and massaged over the area. Followed by steam treatment.
By placing warm oil over treated muscles, it loosens the area, making the massage more effective.
During this treatment, each eye is treated one at a time. The eye is bathed for 10 to 15 minutes in medicated ghee or other substance and you are instructed to blink, close, and relax.
A face massage, hot towels or steam, and nasal drops are part of this treatment for sinuses and hay fever.
With Sophia as your trained pregnancy massage therapist, you don't have to wait until your 12th week of pregnancy to get a massage.
You can come to her for a relaxing and therapeutic massage if your nausea or vomiting is manageable.
A mum’s recovery 6 weeks post-childbirth is crucial. Through the removal of toxins and increased flow of oxygen, a massage can aid her body's healing process.
Besides promoting her vitality, reducing fatigue and calming her nervous system, it can also improve her sleep.
Two and Three Hour Health Spa
