Whole Person Paradigm for Optimal Health and Well Being.

Transformation Medicine Australia is a Holistic Integrative Medical and Complementary Therapies Center that follow the Hippocrates oath of “First do no Harm” . It combines the best of conventional and evidence based complementary therapies in a comprehensive program to assist people regenerate their health and transform internal blocks at whatever level of dis-ease or degeneration they find themselves in.

This holistic approach considers healing:

The Body – Innovative, safe and powerful Integrative Medicine therapies to reverse underlying physical causes of chronic and degenerative illnesses that optimise health and achieve maximal vitality.

The Mind – Recognising that body symptoms almost always have an underlying call for growth and change. Oftentimes these symptoms arise as we suppress our emotions and/or continue habit patterns or mindsets that are not aligned to what we really want in our lives.

The Soul – Releasing underlying blockages to health often leads to experiencing the inner source of wellness, vitality and radiance within; and from here you create new ways that support well being on all dimensions. For most people there is an accompanying peace that comes from attaining clarity, direction, happiness, joy, freedom and creative expressions of their true being.

Transformational Medicine practitioners witness that growth and change is the calling behind every symptom. Body symptoms and illness disrupt the normal life in an attempt to shape the life of individuals into new directions with increased awareness and self expressions. The improved health and well being of the individual person rippling out into the community at large is the primary outcome of this philosophy. The abundance of research available shows that integrating multiple forms of medicine in a complementary way can have an additive effect, and can be more effective than relying on any one approach by itself.

Dr Margaret Jiin Ngu is a Monash University medical graduate (1978) of 36 yrs, practising Integrative Medicine for the past 30 yrs. She incorporates conventional medicine with evidence based complementary therapies like Acupuncture, Herbal, Nutritional and Environmental Medicine; Homeopathy; Bioenergetic Medicine, Psychological Medicine  and MindBody Medicine inclusive of Esoteric Healing, Esoteric Psychology, Journey Work, Psychodrama, Breath Work , Quantum Breakthrough Process and Process Work (Process Oriented Psychology).

Dr Ngu is a current lifelong member of the AIMA (Australasian Integrative Medicine Association), member of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (MAMAC), Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM) and member of the RACGP NFSI ( National Faculty of Specific Interest) in Integrative Medicine, Psychological Medicine and Muscular Skeletal Medicine.

She is a Past President of the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association (1998 –2001) and founder of Transformational Medicine Australia (TMA). In her contribution to the bridging of mainstream and alternative medicine and in bringing organisations on both sides to come together, she has given lectures and workshops overseas and convened the first three Australasian Conferences in Integrative Medicine.

She was a founding member of the AMA Advisory Committee in Complementary Medicine under the presidency of Kerryn Phelps, that made a landmark transformation (in 2001) of the then rigidly held AMA policies on alternative and complementary medicine.

Whilst Dr Ngu was an associate director of the IEDGP (Inner Eastern Division of General Practice), she ran the first commonwealth funded Meditation based Stress Management Project in 1996 for patients and GPs of the area.

Her search for holistic healing has led her to found Transformational Medicine Australia (TMA) which addresses the informational and energetic nature of human beings and how body symptoms and mental health issues may be a deeper calling for transformation, growth and experience of the greater dimensions of our being and of one’s life.

Apart from her Holistic practice, Dr Ngu enjoys her four children (robust young men) and 2 gorgeous grand daughters and continues her love for personal evolution and transformation in facilitating individuals and groups in process oriented Transformational Medicine Journey Retreats and seminars.

Her witness of the science and power of love that heals has led her to found the social network movement LUTW “Love Unites the World” where people everywhere are invited to start their own local groups to pave the path of love by sharing their lives, having fun together and planting their intention to heal with love by planting “love poles” with the words “May Love Unite the World”. People interested to be part of this movement are invited to contact Dr Ngu.
