I am a strong believer in education and spreading the word about how simple it is to achieve health through nutrition. Nutrition does not have to be very complicated. If you have the foundations, they you absolutely have the power to develop a healthy lifestyle and life.
My personal journey with Nutrition began when I realised that there were far too many individuals taking prescription medications. I was working in a pharmacy at this point in time and I couldn’t help by think about a possible alternative to preventing and managing chronic disease.
Many patients that I saw were taking in excess of 5 medications simultaneously. It was at this point that I decided I wanted to learn about how Nutrition can help people. Food can be utilised as medicine and for the prevention of disease. There are a number of conditions that can be prevented through dieting and it is my aim to educate my family, friends and those who are willing to make the change to nourish their body. Areas that I specialise in and loving working with are digestive disorders and skin conditions.
