Yoga is not about the perfect body, the perfect pose or about being the most flexible, in fact you don’t even have to be flexible to do Yoga.

Not only has Yoga helped heal my back, develop upper body strength, and how to breathe – it has taught me how to forgive, through learning how to let go of my story line but at the same time not be ashamed of it.

Tammy has been working in the health industry since 1994, she is a qualified Registrered Nurse and has taught and trained globally with world class teachers in the Yoga & Mindfulness fields. She has taught some of our countries elite athletes such as Layne Beachley, the Victorian Swimming Squad.

She has also taught yoga at Professional Development Conferences for the Qld Police Service (EAS) , Universities and continues to assist organizations to deliver more effective health and wellbeing programs for their staff.

Geoff Smith

Geoff loves to teach a dynamic and challenging class however has a gentle energy and a caring approach that guides the student. Geoff has studied & practiced with Tammy Pascoe, Keenan Crisp and Duncan Peak.

He also coaches rugby union, loves the surf and looks forward to building and being part of the Power Yoga community. He believes yoga classes should be fun and light hearted.

Danielle Mondahl

My Yoga journey began in a tiny studio in my hometown near San Francisco. I loved the movement, the playfulness and the camaraderie with the teacher and other students. Best of all, I loved that hour of time set aside just for me as I was raising a young family.

I knew that in my mid forties, yoga was what would help me to build strength and endurance to carry me forward into the second half of my life.

Going from 1 class per week to 3 classes and more is what really ignited my passion. First there was a little spark of energy about me that family and friends were noticing. I was interested in improving my practice physically and mentally and seeing where it would take me.

I completed my Level 1 Yoga teacher training with Tammy Pascoe of Yoga NRG. I discovered that my practice changed and deepened as I attended more classes. That little spark of energy had grown into a full-blown fire. During my training a passion for sharing what I was learning arose and I have been teaching classes on the Sunshine Coast since 2011.

Although my preferred practice is Power Yoga, my general classes are Hatha Yoga based, combining classic poses with Vinyasa flows. I blend the teachings of Power Yoga and Hatha Yoga with my own style; and focus on a deep connection to the power of the breath. I also have an interest in Yoga for children and teens and Yoga for Pregnancy and Yoga for Mums and Babies; helping to empower and support women throughout the different stages of their journey.
