Yogahub - Yoga
Early Morning Mysore
Style of Yoga – Ashtanga
A Mysore setting is a traditional way of practicing Ashtanga yoga that provides a customised and individualised approach without the cost of a private lesson and with all the supportive group energy that is developed in a conventional class.
A Mysore yoga class is not conducted in a conventional ‘talk through’ manner. Throughout a Mysore yoga class you will find that students who are new to the experience and practice of yoga, students at an intermediate level and those who are experienced and have been practicing yoga for many years all practice in quiet harmony together.
Align & Flow Vinyasa
Ashtanga & Iyengar
A class led in a creative manner that is focused on the moderate pace of sequences in Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga poses. This class utilises fluid movement and a concentration on ones breath to strengthen, lengthen and stabilise the body.
The Yin Crowd
Style of Yoga – Yin & Yang
Yin yoga is a meditative and restorative class that is characterised by long supported poses that gently revitalise and stretch connective tissues, such as tendons, ligaments and fascia.
Yin & Tonic
We go through a series of Yang inspired yoga asana specifically designed to warm the body and explore our relationship with our breath. We then turn our attention towards the inner body as we go through the second half of the class with passively held yoga asana close to the ground.
I Heart Hatha
This yoga class takes you back to where it all began with a general yoga class that is specifically designed to provide you with the time to hold and explore each pose in full. This yoga class is joyful and has a strong focus on increasing flexibility, refining alignment and developing long lean muscle.
Slow Flow Fridays
Weaving elements of poetry, myth and wonder Claudia will take us on a journey that melts away mental and physical tension, and guides us gently towards improved clarity, love and self-acceptance.
Style of Yoga – Hatha & Iyengar
Based on Iyengar and Hatha yoga traditions salute your Sunday with some amazing standing postures and also some seated postures to awaken your spine, your hips and your back.
Lemon Jello Roll & Release
Shake of the stresses of your week & roll roll roll and make your body feel like Jello.
Not really yoga – but with all the ooh’s and ahh’s we hear in these classes you know something really amazing is going on.
Utilising tools such as golf balls, tennis balls and blocks this class targets the trigger points, and myofascial tissue to release unwanted tension and unwind the body. You will literally learn how to give yourself a massage.
