Anyone can do it, it requires no exercise and even if you have a health condition you can still practice Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is normally practiced whilst lying on the floor on a yoga mat or towel, however it can also be done whilst sitting in a comfortable chair or on a cushion on the floor with your back against the wall and legs stretched out.
