Bladder Stones

Bladder stones form when waste products crystallize in the bladder. These stones can be anywhere from 0.2cm to 2cm large. There may not be any symptoms, especially with smaller stones, but if symptoms occur they include blood in the urine, pain when urinating, difficulty urinating, a frequent need to urinate, an urgent need to urinate, and abdominal pain. Treatment options include surgery, ultrasound therapy, increasing fluids, herbal remedies, and Kegel exercises to strengthen the bladder.
