Centre for Life Therapies is Australia's No.1 NLP Training Organisation for Women.  Based in Sydney, students can study NLP, Matrix Therapies® and Hypnosis either face to face or online nationally.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of successful behaviour. It teaches certain processes to replicate that behaviour in your own life. It can empower your subconscious mind to help you move closer to achieving personal and professional goals. Matrix Therapies® are processes to clear negative emotions and limiting beliefs. 

NLP and Matrix Therapies® together assist you to make profound and lasting change and allow you to fulfil your true potential, and help others achieve their true potential. These modalities give you the skills you need to unlearn negative habits and tackle issues that are preventing you from moving forward.

Practitioner Training is held throughout the year online and face-to-face in Sydney over 7 days. Master Practitioner Training is held online and face-to-face in Sydney over 9 days (pre-requisite is Practitioner Training).

About Sonya

Who am I?

Hi! I'm Sonya Furlong, the founder of the Centre for Life Therapies.  I am Australia's No, 1 NLP Trainer for Women, empowering them to fulfil their career and relationship dreams faster and easier than they thought possible.

I believe every woman deserves a career that is in alignment with her values, working with people she likes, doing the work she loves, working the hours she wants and being paid what she's worth.  

I also believe women deserve meaningful relationships, where she is loved, respected and the whole of the partnership equals more than the sum of the parts.  

What I am not ok with is women who are being undervalued, bullied, disempowered, struggling with imposter syndrome, putting themselves last, and struggling with relationships.  I'm not ok with women consistently suffering from anxiety, unhappiness, burnout and overwhelm.  

My top 3 values are Love, Wisdom and Success and I base my trainings and coaching on these principles, sharing the skills so every woman can experience more love, more wisdom and more success.  

As I severely depressed teenager I sought out ways to manage my emotions as I was brought up in a culture where no-one was listening - you didn't talk about your problems and you 'soldiered on', putting on a brave face and hiding your pain.  I began meditation and it saved my life.  Fast forward to my 30s, I was now married with 2 children and suffered another bout of depression lasting several years.  Finally it was the life coaches I paid to see that helped me turn my life around.  

Despite successful careers in the film, television and events industries, I was burnt-out, tired, undervalued, full of fear and imposter syndrome.  

I decided to invest in myself, studied and became a life coach and certified trainer of NLP, Matrix Therapies® and Hypnosis.  This was life changing in ways I could not have comprehended.  This has lead me here, the founder of the Centre for Life Therapies and the leader of the Business Unbound Women's Program, a national program for supporting women to make positive transitions in their careers and relationships.
