Virtual Lap Banding ™ for weight loss :- An ideal weight is essential for the body to maintain health and fitness. Obesity causes many health problems; Heart Disease, Arteriosclerosis, Diabetes, Arthritis to name just a few. Virtual Lap Banding ™ is a hypnotic technique that guides you through a lap band procedure, while convincing the subconscious mind that the surgery has actually taken place. This enables you to eat smaller portions of food, allowing a healthy weight loss to occur.
The programme consists of five sessions during which the issues of healthy eating, and the emotional aspects of over eating, or eating unhealthy and fattening foods are addressed. You will receive two CD's to use at home, these will reinforce all the suggestion and positive messages given during the sessions, and are immensely valuable to achieving your goal.
I also help people to alleviate anxiety, stress, panic, fears and phobias, insomnia, menopause, weight issues, smoking and other disruptive habits. Any areas of concern can be addressed.

Hypnotherapy Works
The power of your subconscious mind is infinitely stronger than your conscious mind. It can be directed, with an experienced and professional Hypnotherapist, to remove barriers to your progress and improve your health.
Your thoughts are influenced by your past conditioning or programming by parents, family, peers and teachers. They can therefore be changed, to a more positive approach, if you decide to do so. Long-standing conscious and unconscious habits can be altered if you feel they are no longer beneficial to you.
You must want the desired end result: it must be your choice to come. So why stop yourself from achieving what you want?
Fast results
Long-term issues can start being resolved even after the first session. Although initially, you may not be aware of the changes happening, often others around you will. Hypnotherapy is a fast and permanent way of making those beneficial changes in your life. Acceptance of hypnotherapy
The old-fashioned mystique surrounding hypnosis is increasingly being replaced by scientific and medical recognition of its many benefits; and hypnotherapy has been added to the growing list of accepted alternative and complementary practices.
In the 1950’s, both the British Medical Association and the American Medical Association recognised hypnosis as a viable tool. In the late 1990’s, clinical hypnotherapy was approved for use in two of Sydney’s major private hospitals in the areas of pain and in pre- and post-operative trauma management.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis has proven to be very effective, and it works. The results are achieved faster than other modes of therapy, as it deals directly with the subconscious mind, and you are in control.
Can I be hypnotised?
The more strong-willed, intelligent and imaginative a person is, the better subject he/she usually is. The exceptions are:
those people with a very low attention span
very young children
those who do not want to be hypnotised.
Will I make a fool of myself?
Most peoples’ impression comes from seeing stage hypnotists, movies and television shows that portray hypnosis in an exaggerated, aggressive and entertaining way. Unlike this image, hypnotherapy uses relaxation techniques. Hypnotic suggestions cannot make you do anything against your moral code, your religion or ethics.
Will I know what happened?
In a trance state, your awareness is heightened. You will be aware of any change or movement around you, and any sounds, including traffic and planes. If an emergency arose, you would be able to respond immediately, with full wakeful control.
Do I need or want therapy?
When issues arise that are unable to be dealt with on a conscious level, then often hypnotherapy will help.
Anxiety and Panic:
Effective techniques are used that will address the reasons that cause your reaction and resulting behaviour. These techniques can then change the internal programming and thoughts, successfully eliminating feelings of anxiety and panic and allowing you to respond to stress in a more healthy way.
Fears and Phobias:
Several sessions are required to make the positive changes that enable you to release and let go of the things that are holding you back. You will have more control and feel more comfortable in any situation.
Weight Management:
Requires a series of approximately six sessions. The first three will be fairly close together, followed by sessions at monthly intervals to review and correct any self-sabotaging behaviour. Achieve and maintain a healthy weight to feel great.
Insomnia:
Deep sleep is required to rejuvenate and heal us. Thinking of the days problems or anticipating tomorrow’s events can keep us awake. Any sleep disturbances result in reduced sleep and we wake the next morning feeling tired and "foggy". When medical reasons have been eliminated and sleep is still elusive, hypnotherapy can help still the mind and allow sleep to come naturally after three to four sessions. The Deep Relaxation CD can be used after going to bed at night to bring you back to that sleep-ready state.
InsomniaSmoking Cessation:
Two sessions are required, a maximum of a week apart, to address all the issues that may arise in connection with a smoking habit. The urge to smoke will disappear, and you will be able to be with smoking friends, undisturbed.
Effective study and exam approach:
Remove inhibiting beliefs. Experience an automatic tendency to study effectively and be able to complete any exams, written or oral, calmly and competently. Relax and remove any concerns associated with giving presentations.
Pain Management:
Hypnotherapy has proven to be effective for minimising hospital stays after operations; healing is quicker and recovery time is faster. Learn techniques that will assist with minimising discomfort.
A Pain Control CD is available that, when played, will relax and distract you from any pain and will bring relief and comfort.
Improve Motivation:
Procrastination holds us back from achieving the goals we set. The limiting beliefs you hold can be changed to allow you more focused thinking.
