AHA membership as a student, general member or professional member provides you with many valuable benefits to help you with your professional development.

As Australia's largest homoeopathic association, the AHA provides members with the newest information, networking opportunities, professional development tools, and many other exclusive benefits.

Continuing Professional Development

The AHA offers seminars and webinars for its members to stay on top of modern homoeopathy and to enhance their confidence as practitioners and business owners.

The topics covered by these events include:

  • Clinical Practice
  • Theories of homoeopathy (materia medica, case management, etc)
  • Government regulations that apply to the practice
  • Establishing and expanding your practice

Members can attend these events to fulfil their CPD requirements and meet the registration requirements.

Research bursary

Once a year, the AHA offers a grant to a professional or student member who undertakes a homoeopathy-related research project with ethics approval from their tertiary institution.

As part of the grant, they will receive cash and will be able to advertise free of charge in the AHA newsletter for assistance with their project.

Publications

For an effective, transparent and supportive association, the AHA conducts regular communications with its members through several publications:

  • Similia: the Australian Journal of Homoeopathic Medicine (biannual)
  • The AHA newsletter (quarterly)
  • AHA news bulletins (as required)

These publications provide members access to articles that range from academic articles to daily news. Members can also contribute to AHA publications to share their knowledge.

Free advertising

Members of the AHA can post free classified ads (up to four lines) in the quarterly newsletter and on the website notice board.

Community

As a member of the AHA, you will have direct access to Australia’s largest community of homoeopaths.

Through our extensive practitioner network, you have access to combined resources, expertise, and support.

Profession Support

Members of the AHA contribute directly to the growth of the homoeopathic profession in Australia through their financial and professional contributions.

Through its response to government departments and media inquiries, the AHA continues to advocate for homoeopathy and use its voice to influence the health policies in Australia.

Globally, the AHA’s international connections enable local growth to contribute to the promotion of Homoeopathy internationally.
