FAQ’s

Does Acupuncture Hurt?

Acupuncture treatment creates deep relaxation in both body and mind. The sensation of the needle is not painful, and you may react in a number of different ways. Sometimes gentle stimulation of the needles may produce a unique sensation that Oriental medicine calls de qi. Patients often describe de qi as heavy, achy pressure, or spreading, travelling feeling.

Is Acupuncture Safe?

Acupuncture is completely safe and only sterilized, disposable, single-use needles are used to ensure your complete safety.

Do I need a referral?

A referral is not required to make an acupuncture appointment.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments depends on the nature of your condition.
