Anger issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and other life issues are often rooted in deep-seated trauma formed by painful experiences from the past. Allow Anca to show you how to release them through Fractal Therapy, a life-changing tool that allows you to live more fully in the present moment.

What is Fractal Therapy & how does it work?

Fractal Therapy makes use of developmental movements, such as those made by an infant lying in a crib. Although they appear to be trivial, such as rotating the head from left to right, these movements are actually critical to brain development, which many people have skipped or missed.

During a treatment session, the client may be directed to roll their head fully to one side and then to the other while doing special breathing techniques. This movement helps to stimulate the inner ear's sense of balance and initiates a growth sequence in the brain.

By stimulating the amygdala, a region of the brain that controls responses to environmental stimuli such as fear and anger, Fractal Therapy initiates a life-changing growth sequence. The amygdala is in charge of most of our behavioural patterns and stores our deepest traumas.

After releasing the wordless traumas that reside at the core of the brain, our clinical psychologist, Anca Ramsden, uses Fractal Therapy alongside other counselling methods that have been shown to be effective with the higher brain.

Meet Anca

Anca has been a clinical psychologist for over 40 years and has seen thousands of patients during that time. She has witnessed dramatic and immediate changes in her clients after implementing Fractal Movement techniques. What's more, it was simple, fast, and effortless.

The critical point is that taking positive action through self-will is extremely difficult while in the stressed states of fight, flight or freeze. Stress causes the brain's rational and creative problem-solving centres to shut down, making us more irrational, confrontational, anxious, and even unresponsive. This is why you should always relieve stress before beginning a project or working on goals. Once the stress is gone, other counselling methods, such as CBT and mindfulness, also start working much better.

FAQs about Fractal Therapy

1. Despite years of therapy, I still have a lot of pain from my childhood. How can Fractal Therapy help me?

Fractal Therapy can access and release deep-seated emotional trauma, such as panic, fear and mistrust, that is embedded in body memory as a result of violation or abandonment, by using techniques that focus on that type of memory and learning.

2. What should I expect from the treatment?

A Fractal Therapy session, unlike traditional therapy sessions, does not require much talking and induces relaxation. It consists of counselling and gentle easy micro physical exercises known as Fractal Movements performed while lying down.

3. How does Fractal Therapy help in controlling anger?

It allows pent-up emotions like anger to be released. This helps with self-control and problem-solving rather than reacting with rage and despair.

4. How quickly will I see results?

Positive changes, such as feeling more relaxed and happier, as well as relief from emotional pain, can be felt immediately after the first session, which gradually increases over time.
