About Me

David’s goal as a chiropractor is to help you out of pain, so you can concentrate on what matters in life. Through the many years of practice, he has honed his skills to ensure he can efficiently and consistently find problems and correct them in the most effective manner. Employing the Gonstead system of spinal analysis and correction he has found excellent results in spinal-related complaints.

Dr David Fong is an associate chiropractor in Camberwell Chiropractic. He graduated from a Bachelors of Health Science (Chiropractic) with Distinction in 2009 and Masters in Clinical Chiropractic with Distinction from RMIT in 2011.

He has in been practice for 7 years now, beginning his career in regional South Australia in Whyalla, where he looked after the city, the labourers and farmers in the main city and surrounding towns, for 2 years.

Returning to his home city, Melbourne, he spent 3 years looking after patients in Malvern and Caulfield. And now, has been serving the Camberwell community for over a year.

Dr David is an AHPRA registered chiropractor, and also a member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society of Australia. He regularly takes seminars to further fine-tune his diagnostic, assessment and adjustment skills, always endeavouring to do his best for for his patients always.

Gonstead Chiropractic

The Gonstead method is a meticulous, systematic and specific approach to analysis and correction of the spine. The technique was named after the founder Clarence Gonstead (1924-1978), who was a mechanical engineer who applied scientific principles to the human frame.

You may expect a thorough examination of your case including a thorough history, visualisation, instrumentation, static and motion palpation, orthopaedic testing, and radiographic analysis.

The Gonstead method focuses on being specific when examining and adjusting the spine.

“Find the subluxation, accept it where you find it, correct it and leave it alone.”

– C.S. Gonstead
