REIKI (pronounced as “ray - key”) is a non invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means Higher Power and Ki which is “Life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. The beneficial effects include relaxation, feelings of peace and wellbeing and connectedness to oneself.
Reiki can bring up unexpected emotions which will and clear the body of energy blocks that can cause disease.
Dee believes there is a new and powerful energy to be used that will benefit all ages.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
- Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. The stones are basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. The heat is both deeply relaxing and helps tight muscles release.
- During the massage, the therapist warms up the body with traditional Swedish massage, & then massages you while holding a heated stone. As the stone cools, the therapist replaces it with another.
Deidre or Dee (as she is known by her clients) has been a qualified healing therapist since 1984 , in the field of Massage, plus other modalities of Reiki, TFT( Thought Field Therapy) and flower essences.
Dee is helping us to understand the unity of body and spirit through massage, reiki and Thought Field Therapy.
You will feel safe and comfortable on entering Dee’s surroundings. She has a deep understanding and empathy for people. (She will even put fluffy sox on cold feet.)
