PODIATRY COSULTS INVOLVE:</font colour =blue>

Appointments are 30 minutes in duration.
A thorough and complete medical history is taken to allow a
full picture of your health to be formed.
Then depending on your needs, various observations of foot function including,
Muscle strength, flexibility, Nerve and Circulation condition, gait pattern and balance
May be assessed.
If required further testing by X-ray or pathology testing may
be processed.
From this information diagnosis and treatment plan will be devised,
with of short-term and long-term management.

This may include:
- Nail and skin Care
- Taping
- Stretches and Exercises
- Orthotics or Insoles
- Changes and recommendations to footwear
- Minor Surgery

Your management will be discussed with you to allow you to have a full understanding,
and assist in helping you to live and do as much as you can.
With your consent, any information of conditions and treatment undertaken with the podiatrist can be passed on to, in an open discussion with your doctor, so as to allow communication and understanding of all your health providers.
