What is energetic healing?

Energetic healing complements the healing that occurs from counselling and hypnotherapy. Counselling involves releasing long-held emotions, which results in positive energetic shifts in the client. Positive subconscious mind shifts are created by hypnotherapy, which then flow into positive shifts in energetic patterns within the client. A person's vibrational frequency naturally rises as more of these shifts occur, attracting more positivity into their life.

Types of energy healing

There are several types of energetic healing modalities out there, but Laura has opted to concentrate on Reiki and chakra balancing as forms of energetic healing.

Mikau Usui founded Reiki, a beautiful Japanese healing modality derived from two Japanese words: Rei, which means 'God's Wisdom' or 'Higher Power', and Ki, which means 'life for energy'. 

Reiki is a relaxation technique that promotes healing and reduces stress. Reiki is accessible to anyone and has a positive impact on one's mind, body, emotions and spirit.

Another excellent healing technique is chakra balancing. The human body has seven chakras, and when any of them is out of balance, the other chakras may not function as well, and the flow of energy throughout our bodies may be disrupted. This can lead to feelings of imbalances in various aspects of one's life. 

Laura can help you determine which chakras need to be balanced and can balance them for you during a session. However, in order to keep your chakras balanced, you will need to do some homework. This means you must be dedicated to your own healing.
