About Samuel

Samuel Dudgeon is one of Melbourne’s most renowned Acupuncturists with over 18 years of clinical experience. He holds numerous tertiary qualifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Health Science from Australia as well as internships in China.

He has been serving the community of Warrandyte and surrounds for over 8 years, and has now extended his practice to the people of the Surf Coast.  Sam treats all members of the family, but has special interest in men’s health. Many of his patients travel a great distance to see him, seeking his support for difficult health conditions, pain management, and male health.  Many of Samuel’s patients are surprised at how few treatments are needed, though this always depends on the person and condition.

With Samuel having not only read and researched most modalities of natural medicine, but also extensively of ancient Chinese classical medicine, you can ensure that you will receive the best treatment and advice available to support you. Most importantly his understanding of health is holistic; he has an authentic understanding of the psyche, and how stress and the mind impact disease and illness.

Treatments with Samuel

An initial consultation involves a thorough health history analysis, and radial pulse analysis which Samuel has mastered. Depending on his diagnosis, Samuel uses Tung, Ba Gua, Moxa and Gua Sha techniques. Chinese herbal medicine is often an essential part of recovery and will be prescribed if needed.
