Naoko Bartlett

Naoko Bartlett was lured to Australia in 1988 by the World Expo and never left!

She made a home and a family here on the Gold Coast and never looked back. After a long career in banking, she decided to explore her passion – helping people. Her journey has led her to become an incredible massage therapist.

Naoko is a registered remedial massage therapist (AAMT) and has her provider numbers so you can claim massage from your ‘extras’ options on your private health fund BUT her skills don’t stop there. Naoko is also highly skilled in relaxation, pregnancy & post-natal, shiatsu, aromatherapy and deep tissue release/trigger point therapy. She continues to learn and grow her skills each year and has mastered her talent.

She is renowned as an incredible massage therapist, chiropractic patient and a wonderful hot yogi – so she understands the needs of our members. Naoko works closely with the Chiro team also to ensure that any corrective chiropractic care cases can be augmented by specific soft tissue release – creating amazing outcomes in long-term spinal and full-body health.

Remedial Massage

This service focuses on determining the underlying holistic causes for many musculoskeletal & myofascial dysfunctions and then developing a treatment program designed to; decrease pain, increase range of motion and restore balance to the soft tissue structures of the body. A significant support to both yoga and corrective chiropractic care

This form of treatment utilises numerous specialised techniques including;

  • Neuromuscular Trigger Pointing,

  • Myofascial Release,

  • Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation,

  • Positional Release,

  • Joint Mobilisation.

  • Gua Sha

Is an ancient therapeutic practise that began in China centuries ago. The skin is pressured, in strokes, by a round-edged instrument.

It creates a suction on the skin that pulls stagnant intercellular fluid to the surface, removing toxic by-products, and replacing it with fresh oxygenated, nutrient-rich fluid, which in turn accelerates regeneration and revitalizes the regions where the Gua Sha is applied.

Benefits include:

  • Moves stagnant blood; assist poor circulation

  • Promotes normal circulation to the muscles, tissues and organs

  • Immediate changes in stiffness, pain and mobility

  • Normal metabolic processes are restored by the movement of fluids as nutrients are carried to the tissues and

  • metabolic wastes are carried away

  • Cupping Therapy

  • Ancient Chinese method of causing local congestion.

  • Draws out the cold, wind and damp from the body, rebalancing Yin Yang and Qi energy.
