Reflexology is a specific pressure technique and an effective therapy. It is non invasive, and integrates well with modern and complementary medicine alike. It is holistic as it is incorporating body, mind and spirit.
The theory behind reflexology is that there are reflex points or areas on the foot for example corresponding to all body parts, glands and organs. As thumb and finger pressure is applied to these reflexes it triggers a physical reaction which then stimulates the body's own healing potential
I am a professional member of the Reflexology Association of Australia (RAoA), and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) I have been working as a Reflexologist for over 16 years. I work closely with practitioners of other complementary therapies to achieve the best results for my clients
Initially trained in the Ingham Method through the Australian School of Natural Therapies and the Australian School of Reflexology. I have adapted different techniques practised internationally, developed my own style, and individually tailor each session to suit the client's needs.
I utilise a range of techniques including Hand/Foot Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Auricular Therapy and TCM in my work.
I strongly believe that the healing process is strengthened by putting emphasis on the care for the client. Many of my clients have achieved rewarding results. Improved health can be accelerated by committing to regular visits as maintenance is the key to better and balanced health.
A variety of Health Funds acknowledge the great benefits of Reflexology. If your Health Fund does not cover Reflexology yet, talk to them.
For special occasions like Mother’s Day, Birthday, Anniversary, etc. A great idea for someone you care.
