The energy of the places we interact with strongly impact how we respond to experiences. Despite our innate personality traits and preparation for situations, energetic impressions and imbalances can give us a feeling of unease, stress, feeling weighed down and even interrupt our relationships- both with our family and our work colleagues. Those with sensory sensitivities may feel even more sensitive to spaces where the energy is out of sync.

At home, you may notice that your family like to gather in a certain area and this area is used more than other areas of your home. It may not be the typically expected area- for example, instead of using the lounge room/ family room to relax, perhaps your family spend more time relaxing in the kitchen or dining area. Why is this? Is it that someone in the family is a wonderful cook and creates meals with love and passion, infusing this energy into the space as they share their gift with their family? Perhaps the space is bright and open and lets in light, whereas the lounge room may have clutter or may have lingering energy from something that occurred there that left an energy imprint.

I once worked with an owner of a gym, they were experiencing a drop in the number of new sign-up clients. We worked together on their business space. I scaffolded a number of energy techniques and had a wonderfully productive session with the owners. The next day, they sent me a message to say that there were people waiting outside the door at opening time to sign up! They experienced a significant increase in sign up clients as well as growth in their business.

There was a lovely lady I worked with who worked from home. Her son was having trouble sleeping. When I went to his room, I noticed a dark patch of energy in a corner of his room. I worked with the energy and when I felt it start to clear, I asked the young boy to come back in the room. I taught him some energy techniques and soon he was happily playing with toys and singing. The next day, his Mum sent a message to say he slept so well the whole night and felt much more relaxed in his room. I'm so happy for them!
