THE STUDIO
Our gorgeous yoga studio is a big, light-filled space in the centre of town. The Studio is above Cyclescape on Sturt Street, which is a beautiful old heritage building.
The studio has a very cool industrial style and we have combined that with a few modern touches to create a beautiful sanctuary right in the heart of Ballarat.
Access to toilet and change room facilities.
We use Eco friendly Manduka yoga mats. These mats have a closed cell surface to keep moisture and sweat from seeping into the mat.
OUR TEACHERS
Jackie Allen
Jackie trained in India to gain her first teacher training qualification at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in South India.
As a qualified yoga therapist, Jackie combines the art and science of applying yogic principles to enhance wellbeing, overcome illness as a preventative mode of healthcare. Both yogic philosophy and yoga therapy are two areas of passion for Jackie.
Jackie completed meditation training in India. She has also gained certification for teaching mindfulness meditation with the Melbourne Meditation Centre.
Eliza Steele
Eliza is a talented teacher who aims to empower students through developing strength and progression in their practice, while encouraging them to nurture themselves and tune into their bodies. Eliza believes that freedom of mind comes through connection to breath and movement. Eliza completed her Teacher Training with Power Living in Melbourne.
Lily Paskas Goodfellow
Lily graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Dance in 2006 and has since been working as a professional dancer with esteemed contemporary dance companies and independent choreographers, both nationally and internationally.
Yoga has been a big part of Lily’s practise for the last ten years and she received her Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher qualification at the Power of Now Oasis in Bali 2015. She is also a qualified Kids Yoga teacher, and Zen Shiatsu practitioner (Australian College of Shiatsu 2010).
Sophie Knight
Sophie has been practicing yoga for about 12 years and has studied with the Vitality Yoga Teacher Training Academy for her teacher training.
Sophie offers a unique and versatile style of yoga for all ages, beginners to advanced. It incorporates pranayama, traditional postures and relaxation. Her classes are designed to strengthen and calm the body and mind, always with an inwards focus.
