About Me
I am a Diploma qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, also trained in Onsen Technique and Touch for Health Kinesiology. I work from a private clinic in Revesby Heights, Sydney.

Being trained in several different techniques enables me to tailor an individual treatment for you.

You may be looking for relief from pain, stiffness, injury and general stress - I can help.

The human body is complex and everybody is different. You may require a combination of different therapies to start turning things around. Choose your treatment from the menu on my website, or come in and we’ll work it out together.

Maybe you just want to chill-out with a relaxing massage for yourself, or purchase one of my Gift Vouchers for someone else.

I look forward to working with you. Contact me now to make your appointment and start feeling better!

Remedial Massage

We all know that ‘prevention is better than cure’. Some people only think of remedial massage when they have strong aches and pains that they need to get rid of. Studies have proven that there are many additional benefits to be gained from regular massage. Massage of all types has been shown to :
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Improve sleep patterns
  • Decrease muscle tension
  • Reduce chronic pain, including sciatica, headaches, neck and back pain
  • Reduce stiffness and improve flexibility
  • Help in dealing with physical and emotional stress
  • Increase blood flow and oxygenation of body tissues
  • Stimulate the immune system
  • Help clear toxins and waste products from the body
All this adds up to improved health and function, not just for your muscles, but for all parts of your body, including vital organs like your heart, lungs and brain. You have experienced the feeling of wellbeing after a massage. Why shouldn’t you feel like that all the time? In today’s world of constant pace and pressure, processed food and pollution, the incidence of chronic diseases and conditions is rising dramatically. To live a long and healthy life, your body needs all the help you can give it. Don’t wait for something to start hurting. Make a deliberate choice to improve your life today. Eat well, get your sleep, exercise and make massage a regular part of your healthy life.

Onsen Technique

Everyone who deals with the treatment of pain must acknowledge the importance of structural imbalances in the production of neuromusculoskeletal pain. The forces generated by these imbalances can be enormous, and every tissue in the body is affected when it is abnormally compressed or stretched due to these forces.

Onsen® focuses on methods to assess and correct pain causing structural and functional deviations in order to provide long term relief.

Bruce provides a whole body structural and functional assessment and a safe and gentle method of correction for many spinal problems.

Onsen Technique does not involve manipulation or ‘cracking’ of joints.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology has been called the healthcare system for the new millennium. It is a fusion of eastern traditional wisdom and western science. Unlike modern medical practice, Kinesiology is holistic. Instead of ‘diagnosing’ and ‘treating’ specific, named conditions like doctors do, Kinesiologists look at all aspects of the person – mental, emotional, bio-chemical, physical, structural, energetic, with a view to bringing the whole person into a better state of balance. We don’t decide to just ignore one factor in favor of another. This means that you don’t generally experience harmful side effects.

Kinesiology uses muscle testing to get the body and subconscious mind to communicate what sort of intervention is required. Kinesiology uses the meridian system known to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as many types of reflex points, neurological techniques and nutrition to bring the whole person back into a state of balance. This balance supports and enhances good health.

Kinesiology has been known to help with :
  • physical pain, headache, backache, frozen shoulder or other joint problems and inflammation
  • structural problems
  • emotional trauma and stress
  • dietary issues and deficiencies
  • food intolerances, digestive problems
  • toxicity
  • learning problems, reading, writing, arithmetic
  • anxiety, phobias
  • behavioral problems, anger, fear
  • athletic performance tuning
  • personal growth, goal setting and achievement
Bruce is qualified as both a practitioner and instructor in two different types of Kinesiology : PKP and Touch for Health. This means that you won’t just be helped during your session. You will have the opportunity to learn simple supporting techniques that you can use on yourself to further enhance and support your own good health.

For those who become fascinated with Kinesiology, ask Bruce about short courses that you can do to learn some simple yet powerful Kinesiology techniques you can use at home to help your friends and loved ones.
