Massage

At Temple del Aqua we offer a range of massage treatments tailored specifically to your needs. We use aromatherapy in conjunction with each massage technique, ensuring our clients get the most benefit from their chosen treatment. Massage treatments are available in the following;

Relaxation – Allow yourself to release stress and find harmony with our nurturing relaxation massage. Gentle flowing movements soothe the body and the mind, enhanced with a special blend of aromatherapy oils specifically designed to assist in relaxation.

Remedial – Healing movements targeting areas of soreness or injury. With remedial massage we can assist you in relieving muscle pains and aid in recovery from injury. Aromatherapy oils used during remedial massage aid in improving circulation and decreasing inflammation.

Sports – Massage for the athletes, sports massage is specifically targeted to your area of concern. Assisting in muscle recovery after exercise and to help remove lactic acid. Sports massages are complimented with aromatherapy oils to improve circulation, reduce fluid retention and decrease inflammation.

Deep Tissue – For those who enjoy and benefit from a deeper massage will love our deep tissue massage technique. Powerful movements from your practitioner assist in relieving chronic pain, stubborn injuries and persistent aches. Deep tissue massage is complimented by aromatherapy oils designed to deeply penetrate muscles and improve circulation.

Pregnancy – All care is taken to ensure comfortability for the expecting goddess. Our practitioner alters the massage experience to relieve strain on the body while you take a well-earned rest and enjoy pampering. Pregnancy massages are specifically tailored to you at the time of appointment depending on your areas of concern and trimester. Aromatherapy oils aren’t used in pregnancy massage as a precaution, we will instead use an unenhanced massage oil.

Reiki – At Temple del Aqua, we use both Usui and Karuna Reiki to enhance our client’s natural ability to heal their body. Health problems can arise when the natural energy of the body becomes blocked, agitated or stagnant. Our practitioners have been trained to rebalance the energies of the body in order to promote overall wellbeing. With Reiki you can: move energy blockages, release toxins, increase vibrational frequency of the body, improve immune system, experience deep relaxation and greater vitality. This natural therapy can also aid in recovery from illness, drug therapy and surgery.

RESET – The technique Rafferty Energy System of Easing the Temporomandibular joint, known as RESET, is a non-invasive energy healing practice designed to relax the muscles of the jaw and bring healing to the nerves and ligaments to reset the Temporomandibular Joint. The jaw muscles hold tension and stress, known to affect learning, posture, digestion and chronic pain. With RESET, the jaw muscles are relaxed, and the tension and stress are released, restoring the body’s natural harmony.

Body Buffing Treatment

Temple del Aqua’s body buffing treatment aids in detoxification, reduction of cellulite and fluid retention and improves circulation. The body buff includes a polishing gel which helps to energise the body and promote soft, glowing skin. The body polish gel is applied with exfoliating gloves to remove dead skin. Jojoba, Grapeseed extract, Amagel and essential oils of Rose Damask, Lemon, Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Geranium, Juniper, Fennel Cypress, Black Pepper and Patchouli make up the replenishing gel. Facials 

Temple del Aqua believes in treating the entire body. We have created our facials to be tailored specifically to our client’s areas of concern. As with all of our products, we use the most natural and nurturing products to bring your skin the most benefit without the use of nasty chemicals. Cleansing, hydrating and supporting the skin for a vibrant and youthful glow. Temple del Aqua recommends regular facials in conjunction with a daily skin care routine for the ongoing care of your skin.

Temple Signature Facial – 90 minutes $179

Our signature facial begins with a relaxation massage for your back, neck and shoulders. Deep facial cleanse and exfoliation, followed by a facial mask and stress melting scalp massage. Finishing with a restorative serum and moisture boosting cream and our Jade facial acupressure massage to relieve your body and mind of any residual physical or emotional stress.

Temple Delight Facial – 60 minutes $129

The Temple Delight Facial was designed for the lover of facials. Relax while our practitioners soothe away the day beginning with a cleanse, exfoliation and steam to free your skin of dead skin cells and impurities. A facial mask tailored to your skin type is applied, while the mask nourishes your skin our stress melting scalp massage restores your body and mind. To finish, a nourishing serum and moisture boosting cream are applied, followed by our Jade facial acupressure massage.

Temple Express Facial – 30 minutes $79

A facial for the time poor, the Temple Express Facial is exactly as the name suggests – express! Treat yourself to a cleanse, steam and exfoliation, followed by a nourishing facial mask and stress melting scalp massage. To finish, our practitioners will apply a restorative serum and moisture boosting cream tailored to your skin using acupressure techniques designed to relax and restore.

Your Body Is A Temple – 120 minutes $219

Allow our Temple practitioners to take you on a journey of healing and relaxation with our most extravagant package. Enjoy a one-hour massage of your choice to melt your body into pure bliss. The pampering continues with our hour-long Temple Delight Facial; your Temple practitioner will have you positively glowing by the time your treatment is complete – your body is a temple.

Time Stands Still – 90 minutes $169

Enjoy the benefits of a full body treatment with our Time Stands Still package. Your blissful journey begins with our Temple Express Facial to clean away impurities and have your skin glowing from the inside. Following your exquisite facial is an hour-long massage of your choice, where our expert practitioners will tailor the experience to your needs.

Divine Intervention – 60 minutes $119

For those who want a little more, our Divine Intervention package is sure to please. Combining our half hour massage with the Temple Express Facial, this treatment has your all over wellbeing in mind. Our skilled practitioners will cleanse, nourish and restore your face before treating your body to some much deserved relaxation and healing.

Temple Offerings

At Temple del Aqua we want you to have the best of everything, which is why we’ve developed the following specialised services for you to add on to any of our treatments of 30 minutes or more. Each of these offerings are 10 minutes each, allowing you to mix and match to your hearts content.

Jade Facial Acupressure – A traditional Chinese method known as Gua Sha, uses a special jade tool to treat pain and some illness. Jade tools are especially smooth and have special energetic properties which make them energetically conductive. During this treatment there is no breaking of skin or marking, the jade tool is used methodically to massage the face to relax tension, improve circulation, increase nutrient delivery, improve brightness in complexion, decrease fine lines and wrinkles and strengthen Qi flow. Gua Sha, like reflexology, can also be used to treat pain or blockages in various areas of the body by placing pressure on meridian points on the face.

Reflexology Massage – A massage of the feet that aims to promote wellness throughout the body. There are several ‘reflex’ areas found on the feet which have corresponding organs and areas of the body. Our practitioners use reflexology massage techniques, such as thumb or finger walking, to stimulate the nervous system to release tension.

Private Events

Temple del Aqua also caters to private events such as, hens parties, honeymoons, weekends away, family holidays, girls weekends, retreats and more. We bring the temple to you by offering a comprehensive mobile service from Byron Bay to Brisbane, relax in the comfort of your own home or holiday accommodation while our practitioners pamper you and your guests. Corporate Chair Massage Service

Make your next event a huge success with our chair massage service. We come to you, from Byron Bay to Brisbane, for four hours (minimum booking required) or more. Temple del Aqua set up a relaxation station where our practitioners provide your guests with 10-minute tension relieving neck, back and shoulder seated massages. Please contact us for rates and availability.

Why not treat your employees? Massage promotes health and vitality and we all know that happy employees are productive ones. Temple del Aqua is available for office seated massages. Our practitioners will attend to each employee at their desk with a neck and shoulder massage or if you have a room with privacy, a massage table can be set up for oil massages. Temple del Aqua practitioners are association accredited and are pleased to offer health insurance rebates. Contact us to discuss rates and availability.
