Myofascial Massage is a technique designed to cause a reduction in pain and increase in range of motion following injury.

Myofascial Massage differs from other Massage styles in that it targets the fascia - the sheath of membrane that surrounds the muscles – as opposed to the muscle itself. 

Because Fascia encases every muscle in the body, an imbalance in the Fascia can cause serious reductions of range of motion and high levels of discomfort. 

Other Massage styles overlook the Fascia, whereas Myofascial Massage focuses specifically on releasing Fascial tension.
