Rachael is a gentle and intuitive practitioner who utilizes Japanese acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine to address a range of physical and emotional concerns. Her approach is gentle and attentive, with a focus on listening to the individual and tailoring her treatment to suit their needs. She practices Toyohari, a particularly gentle style of Japanese acupuncture that includes non-insertive needling methods using round ended tools that are tapped or stroked along the meridians. Her approach is suitable for working with children and other vulnerable groups.

To meet Chinese Medicine is to meet a philosophy that sees the whole self. Many people report feeling relief at finding Chinese Medicine. Finally a healing system that seems to understand the beautiful intricacies that exist inside us. Rachael is most passionate about providing space for people to experience this holding of their whole selves, where all parts of themselves are welcome and seen. She believes that this is crucial for healing.

Your body knows the path to healing — our work is to clear away the layers so that your body can remember that path. Rachael listens directly to the body and responds, so that treatments are a gentle conversation that allows your healing journey to unfold the way that it needs to.

The focus of treatment is not only to free you of symptoms, but to address the underlying cause of the imbalance in your body that is perpetuating the symptoms. From a place of balance you are able to make choices that promote this state of health, and change gently starts to occur. This way we are not moving from symptom to symptom in a never ending cycle, we are moving away from the cycle and making new connections.
