Lloma has a Diploma in Reflexology since 1997, and her clinic, Mind Your Feet, is in the lower Blue Mountains, offering Reflexology treatments for the whole family. She works with Foot Reflexology and a lymphatic drainage technique is included in your blissful treatment. Great healing outcomes can be achieved by working with her clients with attention and intention, to release the stress and tension that can build up in the body. This in turn brings the body and mind back into balance which begins the healing process. Lloma is a professional member of the Reflexology Association of Australia (RAoA), and is passionate about using Reflexology to assist with modern medicine and other therapies, especially with the ageing population and their carers. Ten years ago she ran a reflexology clinic in the regional town of Mudgee, and now works from Winmalee, which is north of Springwood, NSW. Her clinic is close to a bus route, where regular buses come from Springwood train station.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a pressure technique used by the therapist with their thumbs and fingers on the client’s feet, hands or ears, moving over the reflexology points to bring about balance to each part of the body, stimulating the healing process. The therapist works holistically, accessing the whole body including internal organs, muscles, etc. and the energy of the mind, and can be used as a complimentary therapy.

Wellbeing and optimum health can be achieved with relaxing and revitalizing treatments. Safe for all ages and is non-invasive.

Reflexology has been known to humans for thousands of years and is used today as part of health care in other countries, especially in Asia and Africa.

Some of the benefits include but not limited to:

  • Improves blood circulation
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Reduces pain, stress, anxiety and depression
  • Balances body systems e.g nervous and hormonal systems
  • Improves quality of sleep
  • Initiates body detoxification
  • Stimulates the body’s own healing process
  • Relaxes, restores and revitalizes
  • Case studies show benefits for symptoms of sinus, menopause, migraine, asthma etc.

Background

Lloma completed her Diploma of Reflexology through The Australian School of Reflexology in 1997, adding extra studies to understand living with dementia in 2020 by receiving a Diploma in Dementia Care with The University of Tasmania. Ongoing yearly study through the RAoA guarantees Lloma’s knowledge on new techniques and information are continually updated for the benefit of her clients.

My Philosophy

Lloma believes that everyone can achieve optimum health, by knowing that it can be achieved, and working together with their therapist. Balanced mind and body is the key to having a healthy outcome.
