Ellie Catt | PRINCIPAL PODIATRIST

Ellie is our full-time clinician, graduating with Honours in Podiatric Medicine.

Ellie has gained further study in Dry needling and is currently completing her endorsement for scheduled medicines at La Trobe University.

Early on, Ellie made the move to Sydney, to pursue her passion in Podiatric sports rehabilitation, working closely with local Rugby Union teams. After gaining much knowledge in the industry, she decided to move back to her beautiful home town, Newcastle.

In early 2015, she become the proud owner of Next Step Podiatry. Within the year, Ellie was awarded a certificate of outstanding health improvement services in the hunter region.

Ellie is eager to stay fit, therefore understands the importance of pain free feet. She continues to work closely with varying sporting team and athletes across Newcastle in sport injury prevention and biomechanical analysis of the lower limbs.

In her spare time you will find Ellie enjoying a coffee with friends, spending time with her dog, Ruby, or planning her next holiday. After travelling through 72 countries, I'm sure she will have a few stories to tell you!

We specialise in custom-made foot orthotics

Our orthotics offer long-term solutions in the treatment and prevention of multiple foot complications, such as recurrent ankle sprains, chronic knee pain, tendonitis, lower back pain and arch pain as they provide the capacity to redistribute pressure across the whole foot and significantly realign the lower limb structures.
