Spiral Counselling and Psychotherapy

Here at Spiral Counselling & Psychotherapy we provide a safe and non-invasive, drug free approach to behavioural and learning difficulties in a nurturing and gentle environment.

An in-depth assessment is a great way to discover how you can help your child. This assessment will span for around 1 hour to 2 hours, and may also include a rundown of early developmental milestones, an assessment of gross and fine motor skills, sensory development and integration (including visual and basic auditory screening).

• Trouble with reading, writing, spelling and/or maths, handwriting


• Difficulties forming close friendships, poor verbal or written expression


• Fidgety, unable to sit still, poor concentration, difficulty paying attention in class


• Poor self esteem


• Appears not to hear spoken instructions


• Frustration, anxiety, blames others


• Awkward pencil grip


• Clumsy, accident prone


• Trouble thinking things through, poor organisational skills
