Providing a safe space and the use of subtle palpatory skills, the therapist is able to gently bring into awareness the clients system as a whole, including its inherent health and any stress patterns or imbalances. Craniosacral Therapy has the ability to work on many levels to release long held stresses in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual areas of our lives.

With the therapist’s assistance the client may become aware of and release any stored trauma, birth, or stress related patterns and effects within the body. The pace of the treatment is client led. Utilising the body’s own intelligent treatment plan, held patterns or imbalances resolve. Unaided by manipulation, the body often enters a phase of deep resourcing prior to completing its own re-organisation (structural re-alignment, nervous system and hormonal regulation, tissue or trauma release) before moving into a new state of balance.

The Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists (PACT) recommends that you choose a Registered Craniosacral Therapist. This ensures they are fully qualified, meet professional standards and follow a Code of Ethics.
