Remedial Massage


Remedial Massage is manipulation soft tissue in the body combines different techniques applied for relaxation massage, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to relieve muscular tension and pain from injuries or caused by your lifestyle such as repetitive strain injury. It can affect more than just your hands and wrists. Poor posture can lead to severe neck and back injuries.

Remedial massage therapy requires specific assessment information, which involves health history taking, interview and  physical assessment for effective treatment plans and goals, and passive stretching to increase range of motion. All treatments tailored to suit your individual needs.

Post assessment is conducted at the end of the treatment to asses your improvement after the treatment. The result of remedial massage besides better sleep is also to increase vitality, performance and flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage


Deep tissue massage focuses on deeper layers of muscle and fascia in the body.

Combined with relaxation massage, it is used to treat a variety of physical ailments. 

With chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions or knots in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain as well as limited movement. It also can block nutrients and oxygen from getting to where they are supposed to go, which causes inflammation and allows toxins to build up in the muscle tissue. The inflammation and toxins contribute to both pain and stress. 

Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions applies with direct deep pressure to relieve pain and restore normal movement.

Trigger point is a tender area of local sensitivity in a muscle and indicated build up of metabolic waste caused by stress or overused muscle. When a trigger point is active, the pain can be very painful locally or refer to other areas of the body.
