Bowen Therapist for Pain & Injuries
Bowen is a gentle form of bodywork that allows the body to relax and start healing on its own.
In addition to treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, Bowen therapy can also help chronic and acute conditions.
As the Bowen technique does not use forceful manipulation, it can be used on anyone, from newborns to the elderly and for any kind of musculoskeletal or neuromuscular complaint.
How does Bowen therapy work?
Bowen treatments are a series of small moves performed at varying pressures on specific parts of the body. It targets the superficial and deep fascia or soft tissues.
The therapist manipulates muscle, tendon, or ligament with light, cross-fibre movements without force.
Treatments typically last 30 minutes to one hour.
What can you expect after treatment?
You may experience relief after just one session and significant improvement within three sessions.
Additional treatments may be required for chronic or long-standing conditions or repeated injuries.
Your therapist may advise you not to have any other physical therapy or other forms of manipulation for a week after the treatment, as your body will adjust to the treatment.

“I can't say enough good things. I have been to other therapists but you are definitely the best one I have been to. I can't believe what a difference it has made in such a short space of time. No more aches and pains and just feel totally relaxed. I feel like I'm about 20 years younger.” - Liz Fabian-Czmok
